Carol Service:

The association members present joined the Church Council meeting to discuss the Carol Services which had been held prior to
Christmas.

Opinions of the Association were sought with regard the successes of the events, how (if at all), they could be improved and if the events
should take place in the future..

The overwhelming opinion was that the events had been a great success They had been well positioned and had brought much
pleasure to many.

It was suggested that such events should continue and indeed be encouraged. It was considered that the Church Committee working
with the Association could provide a useful link between the Church and the community.

The events raised approximately £590 the money to be split between the following items with Christian Aids, Present Aid.

Stethoscopes
Cans of Worms
TAPS

The publication of the events was considered to have been pitched at an appropriate level. The events were considered very festive
and review questionnaires have revealed a favourable response. All in all a good success.

Easter Event:

The Easter Event is to take place on the 15thn April the usual activities will be provided.. Details to be finalised at the next meeting.

Quiz night:

The date for the next Quiz Night has now been firmed up as the 4th March.

Provision of Bench Seat:

Provision of a Bench Seat at the top of Churchill Way was discussed. Taunton Deane have given a quote of £550 for the provision and
installation of a seat. This seems a reasonable proposal but consideration was deferred until the next meeting when details of the seat
and location, hopefully, will be available.

As Carol is now to assume the role of Treasurer it was agreed that she should be added as a signature to the Associations accounts.
Debbie and Steve will continue to be signatories.
