The apologies were accepted and the minutes agreed. Steven Introduced John Dawson who came along to the meeting from Wilton Street.

Summer Event.
Date is set for the 10th September 2005 with a suggested Time Scale of 2pm - 5pm.  Andy Hall to investigate further the possibility to 
borrow a tent and generator from the scouts.  The Castle School are confirmed as providing a percussion group.  However the drums will 
need to be kept off of the ground.  Andy agreed to investigate the options for this.

Other items discussed included a puppet show, Barbers Shop Quartet, Alwyn offered a plant stall.  There was a cake stall suggested.  
Deborah to organize Face Painting, the normal races will take place, Jenny to be asked to provide parachute games and Steve advised 
a parachute and camouflage net can be borrowed if needed.

It was suggested the Marines be invited to be involved on the day in some way.

Phil Parker will provide a Wilton History stall.

Quiz Night.
Gareth to do the quiz questions with Deborah.  It was decided that there would be two rounds of six subjects.  Steve handed out 
posters to be displayed in prominent positions.  Every one was advised the start at 7:30pm and committee members who can, was asked 
to provide prizes if possible.  Also to arrive at 6:45pm to help set up.  Steve advised he would email everyone as last time.


Parking Issues - Middle way/Churchill Way. 
Steven Confirmed that the meeting with Mr. Titcombe had happened and that he had agreed some finer tweaking of the plans and that we 
were awaiting the amended version to arrive.

Community Audit.
Good response has been received and Alan Stoodley and Andy agreed to evaluate.


Crossing on Trull Road.
With the crossing now up and running the committee felt that it was not in the interests of the committee to pursue an official opening as it 
had been considerably delayed.

Princess Margaret's.
Steven advised that he had lodged a letter of objection to plans received for the social housing on the Princess Margaret's site.

He advised that the objections were stated on the number of parking spaces and physical barriers.

AOB

Steven advised that the £760.00 that we had received from SCC for Dog Bins was to be spent on other things that would directly benefit 
Wilton & Sherford.  Steven mentioned that he had had a meeting with Mark Edwards and Stephen Martin-Scott and that it had been 
suggested that it could be used on litter bins and or benches (Locations to be thought of) Alan Wedderkopp suggested an open wooden 
style bus shelter.

There being no other business the meeting closed at 9:40pm.
