He stated that the association was regarded as a trouble making organisation by the council and other residents association. Steve felt that for the good of the association we have to work with the Bowls and Golf Club in the future. It was agreed that the association should speak as one organisation at future meetings or events. Phil was concerned that if he could not raise a personal view at public meetings, ( bowls club), then he would resign from the association. He felt that as the council's parks and leisure committee were not acting democratically he was not prepared to sit on the committee. It was noted that with regards to the park, a questionnaire had been allegedly sent out, as not all local residents had received it, it was worthless. Alan noted that the proposed amount of parking on Wilton Lands this Year was not relative to the number of events this year. Dave raised a personal objection about community event. He did not feel that was what the association was there for. It was decided that the newsletter could not be published in colour, as the cost was too expensive. Kevin agreed to review the format of the draft copy to make it more impact full using landscape. A tear off slip was to be attached for residents to express their views on the community event. Judy outlined Gareths findings with regards to the community event. It was noted that Gareth had put a lot of work into his enquiries and thanks for this was noted.
