Easter Event / Crossing on Trull Rd:
The Easter Event was discussed and the following items raised:

The event will run from approximately 10am until 12 pm. All involved were asked to be available from 9.30 am to assist with setting up.
Tables will need to be moved to the venue from the Church Hall. Andy Hall Dealing.

The licence for the event has been granted Gareth to hold and deal with further issues such as advising the Police and Fire Service.

The licence stipulates that no food or drink should be sold at the event and that there should be no music, the food and drink issue was
accepted but Gareth agreed to challenge the no music clause. Steve has secured Public Liability insurance for the year at a cost of £200
this will cover up to 15 events.

The activities to be provided at the event were discussed and the following is a summary of those decided upon, however any other
initiative's on the day will be welcomed.

Sack Race
Three Legged Race
Football
Bat the Rat
Lamb Chop - Puppets
Egg and Spoon Race
Painted Eggs
Raffle - Alan Wedderkopp to organise

It was agreed that the event would be a good opportunity to facilitate the distribution of the Community Audit questionnaires with the
attendees being encouraged to complete the questionnaires on site. Alan S to bring copies of the questionnaire to the event.

Steve advised the committee that he would not be available as he is spending Easter away. Gareth agreed to drive the event in Steve's
absence.

It was agreed at the meeting that it would be a good idea to coordinate the opening of the new Pedestrian Crossing at Trull Rd with the
Easter event. Secretary's note: Subsequent to the meeting we have been advised that the crossing will not be ready in time.

Summer Event:
The Summer Event was discussed and all were encouraged to consider activities which could be laid on.

Early thoughts were based on the activities to be provided at the Easter event with the possible inclusion of a community picnic and the
parachute game. Additional thoughts would be welcomed please.

Bishops Henderson School have expressed an interest in being involved.

Parking on Wilton Lands.
Steve advised the committee that he had attended a meeting regarding parking on Wilton Lands. He advised that a proposal had been
raised to keep the parking arrangement the same this year as in previous years. The issue therefore remained unresolved and will be
raised for further review in June.

AOB.

Sherford Stream.
A new drain has now been provided and the mud issues have been resolved.

Princess Margaret's:
The social housing issues have still not been resolved and hence planning permission planning is yet to be finalised. There is now a
suggestion that a new access to the social housing is being considered. The meeting strongly opposed this and Steve agreed to raise
this objection.

Community Audit:
It was agreed that this should be driven via the Easter and Summer events. Alan S to make copies of the questionnaire available at the
Easter event.

Middleway/Churchill Way Parking
This continues to cause concern the Council are reviewing the situation and the Association awaits the outcome of the review.

Other Events and Ideas:
The Association were asked to consider ideas for future events and for fund raising. Some ideas suggested were a quiz night, Christmas
bazaar and an unwanted Christmas gifts sale. These ides to be further discussed and developed at future meetings.
