Agenda item 3. Item Haines Park area:
Mr Dare made the committee aware of the fact that the area was often used from early morning to late at night.
The noise is very unpleasant and precludes Mr Dare and other residents from sitting in, and enjoying their gardens.
In particular Mr Dare was concerned with regard the mix of dogs and children who cause problems in the area.
After discussion with Councillor Meikle it was agreed that Steve would talk to Steve Cuthill of the Parks Department to ascertain
if there is anything we can do to help with this. AP Steve

The committee were grateful for the Flower Show organisers withdrawing their proposal for parking at Wilton Lands during the Flower
Show. There were however ongoing concerns that the area is used at all for parking by both the Bowls and Golf Clubs.
It was suggested that a letter should be sent to the Flower Show Committee to thank them for there support of the concerns raised.
Councillor Meikle was not against the parking arrangements given the limited number of days the area is used for parking.
However he offerd to put forward our views but it would be more in a delegate capacity rather than a representitive.
