The apologies were accepted; the previous minutes were reviewed and agreed.

Review of AGM / Future Structure of the Association

The key issue discussed was the future structure and indeed survival of the Association. Steve, who all agree, has contributed more than enough to the Association as Chairman over a number of year’s wishes to stand down as Chairman.
However despite considerable efforts no successor has been forthcoming.
It was accepted that without a Chairman the Association would cease to exist.. A number of options on the way forward were discussed and it was agreed that in the short term Steve would remain as Chairman with the other committee members helping to share the work load.  The situation will need to remain under review.

The associations financial situation was reviewed and accepted to be in a healthy position.

The community award for the year was unanimously awarded to Phil and Lyn Parker for there selfless work in the community. They were thanked for their efforts.

Carol Concert at St Georges Church  

The Association will of course support the concerts proposed for this Christmas. There will also be the provision of mulled wine, tea, coffee and soft drinks etc.  at the church hall afterwards.

Sherford Stream
         
The environmental condition of Sherford Stream has now greatly improved and wild life is slowly re-establishing.
