1.  Apologies:
John Meikle

2.  Previous Minutes:
The previous minutes were reviewed and agreed.

3. Chairperson:
No further movement on this issue – to be reviewed at the forthcoming A.G.M.

4. Parris Farm update:
The Parris’s where welcomed to the meeting and thanked for their attendance. Discussion regarding the remaining concrete area used in conjunction with the building which has now been dismantled took place. Basically there is a concern that it will affect the flood plain (possibly restricting 40% of flow to the stream in that area) However the meeting was advised that evidence of this was not totally conclusive and  Taunton Deane have decided not to pursue the issue due to the legal costs they may incur.

5. Middleway:
The meeting was advised that there has been a problem with youths in the Middleway area, it’s random, but mainly late on Thursday and Friday nights. The problem is not of a vandalistic nature but is very disrupted due to the noise created and the foul language that is prevalent.
P.C. Gear advised that these incidents should be reported to the Police as without the information they are not aware and hence cannot do anything to help bring a resolve.

6. Burtons Orchard:
There was little to say on this one. It seems the building is to be used to rehabilitate people with various problems back into the community. It is believed that there will be carers available during the day with a ‘call out’ facility at night. The people from Vivery Rd. who where present at the meeting were a little uncomfortable with the situation but as there is little more the WSCA can do to influence it, we can only watch what unfolds.

7. Newsletter:
A new newsletter is now due. All inputs are welcome.

8.  Dog Faeces:
No movement on this item at present. Evidence is required. Jenny dealing.

9. A.O.B.
Japanese Knotweed:
The weed has now been sprayed but the problem is still not fully resolved, however it is in the hands of the experts and we can only monitor the situation.

Fly Tipping:
This is an increasing issue around the area.  Identification of the people involved is of course difficult but if they are identified P.C. Gear asked to be advised.

There being no other business the meeting closed at 9.15pm
Date of Next Meetings: A.G.M. 30th October 2009  7.30pm Main Hall St Georges. Normal Meeting Tuesday 17th November 2009 7.30pm St Georges Meeting Hall.
